President Barack Obama seems to be enjoying his post-White House lifestyle. The two-term POTUS and best-selling memoirist has been celebrating in style with a charismatic British billionaire.
Branson wrote that he was thrilled to give Obama the opportunity to surf again, after the former president, a Hawaii native, lamented that secret service official didn’t allow him to surf at all during the last eight years.
“It was tremendous to offer him the chance to learn to kitesurf,” Branson wrote. “The sport has really taken off in the past decade, and we have the perfect conditions and team to help anyone learn.”
The Obamas arrived in the British Virgin Islands last week. The former president quickly went viral after being photographed looking very relaxed while wearing a baseball cap backwards.
Obama didn’t let his vacation stop him from weighing in on President Donald Trump’s controversial travel ban. He praised the millions of Americans who gathered to protest the new policy, arguing that all citizens “have a responsibility to be the guardians of our democracy.”
Should Obamacare be repealed?
